MOU Signing Ceremony for Gachon University Gil Hospital and SUNY Korea

Gachon University Gil Hospital (Dr. Yang Woo Kim, Hospital Director) and SUNY Korea (President ChoonHo Kim) signed an MOU on March 18, 2019, at SUNY Korea.

Both institutions agreed to plan programs such as health care related lectures, health examination event promotions, and medical support services for international students, and to organize student volunteer recruitment for medical translation.

Dr. Yang Woo Kim, Hospital Director of Gachon University Gil Hospital, said, “We will run the 24-hour hotline for SUNY Korea faculties and students for better medical service, and launch various collaborative projects with the university.”

Meanwhile, SUNY (The State University of New York) was established in 1948 and currently has 64 SUNY colleges and universities in New York state. SUNY Korea was established in March 2012 located in Songdo, South Korea and currently offers degree programs of Stony Brook University and FIT.
