On July 28, Incheon Global Campus (IGC) held a joint open house event at the IGC auditorium and lecture halls at SUNY Korea with all four universities located at IGC, including SUNY Korea.

This event was for prospective students and parents who are interested in universities at IGC to visit the campus during their summer vacation and get to know more about the schools.

About 400 students and parents participated, and the event was divided into morning and afternoon programs. A University Information Session was held during the morning program while a Counseling Session with all university's officials took place in the afternoon.

SUNY Korea held individual counseling sessions with about 100 students and parents regarding Stony Brook University (SBU) and Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), which offer two programs here at SUNY Korea.

Dr. Andrew Schenck, Associate Dean of Admissions and Public Relations at SUNY Korea, said that "The number of participants for the information session and open house program is increasing every year. We have seen a clear rise in the number of both middle and high school students interested in the programs we have here at SUNY Korea." He then added, "If students prepare for university admissions well in advance, it is more likely for them to get a good result. We hope to see these students at SUNY Korea very soon"
