Application Guideline
Overview
The Giving Back Scholarship is funded by Academic and Student Affairs and is awarded to any SUNY Korea
students to honor and recognize outstanding achievement by students who contributed in the areas of service
or volunteerism to the SUNY Korea community.
Award Amounts
500,000 KRW scholarship in cash.
Eligibility
1. SUNY Korea undergraduate student who is enrolled in 2019 Spring semester
2. Student who is free of any type of probation (academic, dormitory, etc.);
3. Student with cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher; and
4. Student with volunteer experience at SUNY Korea university events
Required Qualifications
1. Being an exemplary model of other students
2. Show great potential for leadership
3. Be actively involved and enthusiastic in campus activities
4. Showed responsibility, dependability and follow through on tasks
5. Showed initiative and perseverance above and beyond their responsibilities
6. Positive feed backs from faculty and staff members of SUNY Korea
