The State University of New York Korea (SUNY Korea) in Songdo, Incheon (President Arthur H. Lee) announced that the SUNY Korea Research and Business Development Foundation (Director Min-Koo Han) held a Startup Boot Camp on the 25th of October for the prep entrepreneurs and early-stage entrepreneurs.
The event was jointly organized by the R&BD Foundation of SUNY Korea and the Incheon Global Campus Operation Foundation. It provided a great opportunity for the participants, 52 students and professors, to lay successful foundations for technology startups. Director Chang-hyung Lee (Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development) and Director Sung Hyun Kong (Korea Accelerator Association) participated, along with other startup support organizations, and provided education to foster students' entrepreneurial spirit and improve the success rate of early-stage startups.
The program consisted of “Successful Founder’s Case Study,” “Understanding the Domestic Startup Ecosystem,” and “Introduction to Government Startup Policies and Startup Support Programs.” It garnered a great response from participants. In particular, the in-depth lecture and disclosure of selected know-how from successful founder Jae-ho Seo, the representative of NT Co., Ltd, resonated greatly with the participating students.
After the lecture, a variety of questions poured in during the Q&A session, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere. Questions were asked about topics such as "How to resolve conflicts in team startup values", "Ways to choose good investors", and "How to apply for youth entrepreneurship support programs". These questions confirmed the high level of interest among students in entrepreneurship.
