Continuing students who maintain a strong GPA or meet the University’s academic standards are eligible for consideration for merit-based scholarships. These scholarships are awarded to recognize exceptional academic achievement and to encourage students to maintain high performance in their studies. In addition to celebrating academic excellence, the scholarships provide financial support to ease the burden of tuition and related expenses, helping students focus on their educational goals.
To apply for a scholarship, students must complete the required application and meet the specified eligibility criteria. Scholarship opportunities may vary in terms of requirements, award amounts, and application deadlines. For the most accurate and detailed information about each scholarship, including terms and conditions, please refer to the descriptions listed under each scholarship category below.
Applications for scholarships are accepted only during specific periods, typically during the summer and winter breaks. Given this, it is highly recommended that students regularly check their emails and the website for updates regarding the opening and closing dates for scholarship and financial aid applications.
The application links will be made available during the application window.
Please be sure to stay informed and apply within the specified dates to ensure consideration for available scholarships.
This scholarship exemplifies the University's dedication to fostering academic excellence by recognizing students who achieve exceptional performance while upholding the highest standards of integrity and effort. It is awarded to the top-ranking student in each academic level and major, with only one recipient selected per level and major each semester.
To maintain fairness and consistency, recipients of this scholarship are not eligible for other scholarships or financial aid that directly offset tuition costs. However, if a student qualifies for another scholarship with more favorable financial terms, they will still be honored as the top-ranking student in their academic level and major. In such cases, the financial benefits of this scholarship will not be combined or deferred to a future semester.
The Academic Prestige Scholarship reflects the University’s dedication to recognizing high academic achievement by awarding students who have excelled in their studies while maintaining integrity and effort. This scholarship is awarded to the second-ranking student in each academic level and major, with only one recipient selected per level and major each semester. However, if enrollment in a given academic level exceeds 50 students, an additional Academic Prestige Scholarship will be awarded. Conversely, if enrollment falls below 20 students, this scholarship will not be awarded for that level.
Since this scholarship does not cover full tuition costs, recipients are allowed to receive additional financial aid if they meet the eligibility requirements. However, they are not eligible for other merit-based scholarships. Students may receive only one of the five available merit-based scholarships for continuing students.
The Dean's Scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance within their academic level and major. Unlike other merit-based scholarships, the Dean's Scholarship may be awarded to all students who meet the eligibility criteria, reflecting the inclusivity of this honor.
The number of recipients each semester may vary depending on the overall competitiveness of the academic level and major. In semesters where there are many high-performing students, the top-most percentile cutoff for eligibility may be adjusted to maintain the prestige of the scholarship. As a result, some exemplary students may fall short of the percentile requirement due to heightened competition, even if their individual performance is exceptional. This flexibility ensures that the scholarship adapts to the changing standards of academic excellence across different semesters and disciplines.
The Academic Achievement Scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated strong academic performance within their academic level and major, following the recipients of the Dean's Scholarship. Unlike other merit-based scholarships, the Academic Achievement Scholarship may be awarded to all students who meet the eligibility criteria, making it a broad yet prestigious honor.
The number of recipients each semester may vary depending on the overall competitiveness of the academic level and major. In semesters with many high-performing students, the percentile cutoff for eligibility may be adjusted to maintain the integrity of the scholarship. This means that students with excellent academic records may fall just short of the required percentile due to increased competition. This flexibility allows the scholarship to adapt to the changing standards of academic excellence across semesters and disciplines.
The Encouragement Scholarship recognizes students who have shown commendable academic performance within their academic level and major. This scholarship serves to motivate students to continue striving for higher academic success while providing meaningful recognition and financial support.
Unlike other merit-based scholarships, the Encouragement Scholarship may be awarded to all students who meet the eligibility criteria, offering an inclusive opportunity for students across different academic levels and majors. The number of recipients may vary each semester based on the overall performance of the student body.
