Student Services organizes several campus-wide events throughout the academic year. These activities offer students various opportunities to enjoy their campus life and build strong bonds with each other. SUNY Korea can boast a strong and familial campus where all students support each other and foster an environment of success. Below are a few of the major events we host throughout the semester.
Year-End Party & SUNY Korea’s Got Talent Show
The Year-End Party is an annual event hosted by Student Services & Undergraduate Student Council (USC) that is held near the end of the fall semester to celebrate with all of the SUNY Korea students, faculty, and staff. At the event, the talent show is also hosted where the SUNY Korea community sign up to showcase their talent and take a chance to win a prize. Attendees enjoy specially catered dinner, music, entertainment, and dress up to celebrate the end of the year together!
Spring Festival & Fashion Show
The Spring Festival is another campus-wide event hosted with the Undergraduate Student Council (USC) during the spring semester. The festival is also open to the local community so anyone could drop by to enjoy the club and department booths, fashion show, student performances, and the special guest stage!
Finals Countdown Dinner
This special event is held at the end of every semester to support our students as they prepare for their finals. As finals approach, a number of students spend most of their time in the SUNY Korea building to prepare for their finals. The faculty and staff come together to offer free food, snacks, and encouragement for the students to enjoy as they study and finish the semester.
