The Fall 2023 SBU Alumni Panel Event successfully took place on Saturday, November 11th from 11AM - 12:30PM. This virtual gathering brought together four distinguished SUNY Korea SBU graduates—Won Gu, Long Vu, Anh Nguyen, and Sunghwan Kim—to share their invaluable experiences and insights into applying for graduate schools with current SUNY students.

Program Details:

  • 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM: Speakers engaged in Zoom Breakout Rooms for Q&A mentoring sessions

 

 

The panelists emphasized the importance of maintaining a high GPA, proactiveness, and effective networking throughout their presentations. Following the sessions, a Q&A mentoring session took place for current students to directly interact with the alumni, asking questions and gaining valuable insights. This event provided an excellent opportunity for students to make direct connections with alumni, networking and enabling them to better prepare by building a strong foundation for their future endeavors.
