On November 22 and 29, 2024, SUNY Korea CDC hosted the “2024 IGC Career Buildup School: Navigate Your Future with Industry Visits and Career Guidance” program. This two-day event provided SUNY Korea students with a unique opportunity to explore their career paths through insightful lectures, mentoring sessions, and industry visits.

Day 1: November 22, 2024

The first day, held at the Textile Center Building in Gangnam, featured a special lecture on career design and small group mentoring sessions led by seasoned professionals from diverse industries:

• Strategy/IT Consulting
• Bio/Healthcare
• Finance/Foreign Companies

Day 2: November 29, 2024

The second day focused on industry site visits to two renowned companies:

• Amorepacific: Students explored Korea’s leading cosmetics company, gaining insights into innovation, branding, and business strategies.

• Amazon Korea: Participants toured one of the world’s largest e-commerce companies, learning about logistics, technology, and global market strategies.

The program concluded with enthusiastic feedback from students, who appreciated the opportunity to connect with professionals and experience the corporate world firsthand.
