From October 29 to 31, 2024, the 10th International Students’ Start-up Conference was successfully held at Tongmyong University in Busan, bringing together representatives from 16 universities worldwide to exchange best practices and strengthen the global start-up network.

SUNY Korea was honored to participate in this prestigious event, with Dean Andrew Lasher, CDC Team Leader Yesol Son, and nine SUNY Korea students in attendance. During the faculty presentation session, Dean Lasher shared insights on successful start-ups founded by SUNY Korea students, highlighting their innovative approaches and entrepreneurial spirit. SUNY Korea students were also actively engaged, presenting on a variety of topics that demonstrated their skills and contributions to the start-up community.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Denis, Gibson, Jaehwi, Salim, Sungmin, Euijin, Yejun, Gayoon, and Suhyun for their exceptional achievements, as all nine students were recognized with awards for their outstanding contributions at the conference!
