2023 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Youth Summer Camp

Hosted by Korea Environment Corporation (K-eco) and United Nations Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD), the "2023 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Youth Summer Camp" will be held on 16 to 19 August, 2023.
 
The SDGs Youth Summer Camp is designed to build and enhance the youth’s knowledge of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly on the importance of water for the successful SDGs achievement for this year. The event is organized in partnership with the Design Factory Korea (DFK) of Yonsei University, the Ministry of Environment (MoE) of the Republic of Korea, and the Korea Environment Corporation (K-eco).
 
For those who are interested, please submit an application form through Google form before the application deadline. For the details of the event and application, please refer to the information below.

  • Venue: Yonsei University International Campus, Incheon, Republic of Korea
    • Benefits: 
      - No registration fee
      - Those who successfully complete the programme will receive certificates.
      - Accommodation and meals will be provided. (* Participants will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the venue.)
  • How to Apply:
    2. Application period: May 1 to May 21, 2023 at 23:59 (KST)
    3. Applicants should submit necessary documents through the Google Form (English Proficiency Test Score, Motivation Letter, etc.). Further details of the application can be accessed via the Google form link.
    4. Up to 50 participants will be selected upon the thorough review of all applications.

This year marks a special turn-ing point in the journey towards the water-related SDGs as the mid-point of the “UN Water Action Decade”. Taking this opportunity, this year's summer camp will focus on the importance of water for the successful SDGs achievement by 2030. The program will use “Design Thinking Methodology” which is a user-centric approach to developing accelereted solutions for SDGs achievement.
