SUNY Korea CDC successfully hosted the Fall 2022 Career Talk to You #1 with the CEO of Global Standard Certification Co., Ltd - Ms. Jackie Jun on Wednesday, October 12 from 12:10 - 1:40 PM. 

Our prominent guest speaker is the CEO at Global Standard Certification Co., Ltd. - a global leading certification/evaluation institution strengthening business strategies through auditing, certification, training, & inspection (https://www.gsckorea.co.kr). Ms. Jackie Jun is a certified CPA from the U.K. and has an extensive career within the finance & auditing field. She has worked for global ISO certification organizations such as SGS Korea Co., Ltd., STX Pan Ocean London Branch, and Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander Investment Banking in London. She graduated from Thames Valley University with a BA in Accounting and an MSc in Finance from Oxford Brookes University. 

Jackie Jun discussed her experiences as a former career seeker in the global job market (especially in the U.K.) and shared her inspiring career journey as a Global Business Developer with expertise in Global Auditing. She also provided perspectives and insights on the TIC business (Testing, Inspection, Certification) and described how the Process Approach Method (one of the inspection methods) can be applied in our careers.
