The Korean FIT Alumni Association was founded in 1979. After myself being the first president, presidents Kwihan Kim, Mireng Song, Hyeren Kim, Sunghye Jung, Sunghwa Chang worked for the association until the early 2000’s. Sadly, the legacy was discontinued for a while.
On March 22, 2019, President Kim Jung-Hee was elected and I am very pleased for the association to be active again.
The first special exhibition of the Korean FIT Alumni Association, “FIT and Korean Fashion”, has a very special meaning. I look forward to having many more alumni events in the future.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the alumni who presented valuable works for this exhibition.
