UN Internship Opportunity: Green Climate Fund (GCF)

Dear Students,
 
We are very excited to announce a rare and valuable UN internship opportunity at the Green Climate Fund (GCF)The Green Climate Fund (GCF) is a fund established within the framework of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) as an operating entity of the Financial Mechanism to assist developing countries in adaptation and mitigation practices to counter climate change. It was established by 194 governments, governed by a Board of 24 members and supported by a Secretariat. Given the urgency and seriousness of this challenge, GCF is mandated to make an ambitious contribution to the united global response to climate change. Priority is given to students in Incheon for this unique internship opportunity, hence we advise all eligible students to apply and benefit from this very practical opportunity at an international organization.

  • Location: G-Tower, Songdo
  • Internship Period: 6 months / Starting from January (*date can be negotiated)
  • Working Hours: 9:00-18:00 (Full-time)
  • Stipend: This internship position will receive a small stipend from the City of Incheon (Over 8 hours: 40,000 KRW / per day)
  • Hiring Field:
    • Administrative support
    • Research support and translation work (English to Korean)
    • Support for cooperation and implementation of external activities
    • Other administrative support
  • Requirement: 
    • At least 4-year graduates (including those expected to graduate) or graduate school student
    • Fluency in English is essential (both written and verbal)
    • A keen interest in the work of GCF and international organizations
    • Proficiency in MS Office
