Internship Opportunity at AMCHAM

Dear Students,
 

CDC would like to introduce an immediate internship opportunities from The American Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AMCHAM Korea) 주한미국상공회의소.

AMCHAM is searching for interns to assist the  1)Government & Corporate Affairs and 2)Communications/PR Department. 

It will be a paid internship that can provide palpable experience in an international business environment, and the office is located in Two IFC Yeouido, Seoul.

  • Office Location: Yeouido, Seoul
  • Wage: 9,200 KRW per hour 
  • Position 1) Government & Corporate Affairs
  • Internship Period: Starting from August 26, 2022 until December 29, 2022 (*negotiable)
  • Working Hours: Mon - Fri (7 hours per day), 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • Major Tasks:
    • Monitor and report up-to-date industry specific issues
    • Research for drafting position papers on member company advocacy support
    • Assist with the production of COVID Daily Tracker
    • Prepare assistance for various AMCHAM events with logistics and documenting events
    • Monitor AMCHAM and member companies' media coverage
 
  • Position 2) Communications/PR Department
  • Internship Period: Starting from August 26, 2022 until November 25,2022 (*negotiable)
  • Working Hours: Mon - Fri (6 hours per day), 10:00am to 5:00pm
  • Major Tasks:
    • Assist with the production of the AMCHAM journal magazine, writing articles about AMCHAM events, coordinating with companies for content submission, proofreading/editing
    • Assist with the maintenance of social media channels, including content creation and stats documentation
    • Draft press releases in English, Korean, monitoring AMCHAM coverage
    • Draft speeches and toasts for AMCHAM leadership
    • Assist with logistics and documenting events
  • Qualifications (Both position 1 & 2):
    • University/graduate school students, recent graduates
    • Strong written & spoken communication skills in both Korean and English
    • Working  knowledge of MicrosoftOffice (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • Working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn
    • Research experience preferred
    • Detail-oriented, professional, responsible, and good interpersonal skills
