2nd IGC Career Workshop (Date: 10/28)

Writer Administrator Date Created 2020.10.27 Hits627

Dear Students,

The Career Development Center wants to invite you to the 2nd IGC Career Workshop with the title, "Introducing Job Aptitude Test for Major Korean Companies." If you want to join major Korean companies, one of the crucial steps will be the aptitude test (인적성 시험). The aptitude test is a part of employment that one can prepare and study strategically in order to increase your employability. Hence the IGC have decided to give students a lecture about major companies' aptitude tests and an opportunity to take a mock test of Samsung's aptitude test as a representation to other major aptitude tests. For selected applicants, GSAT for Samsung Job Aptitude Test book by Hackers will be given for free. Also, snacks will be provided!

Date: Wednesday, October 28, 2020
Time: 11:40 AM - 1:50 PM
Location: Zoom & Small Theater (Strict COVID-19 guideline will be followed)
Speaker: Educe Lecturer
Title: "Introducing Job Aptitude Test for Major Korean Companies"
Application Deadline: Sunday, October 25, 11:59 pm
Program :
11:40 AM - 12:30 PM, Lecture: "What a Job Aptitude Test is and how to prepare for it" (Via zoom, open for everybody)
12:40 PM - 13:50 PM, Job Aptitude Test Mock Examination (삼성 인적성 모의고사) (In Small Theatre, limited availability, priority will be given to Juniors and Seniors)
*Both the Lecture and the Mock Exam will be conducted in Korean*
How to Apply: fill in the google form with this link

*Unfortunately, because the mock test will be that of Samsung's Korean employee job aptitude test, the zoom lecture and the mock test will both require fluency in Korean. All SUNY Korea students are invited to join this workshop, but considering the limited number of people we can capacitate in a room due to COVID-19 regulations, only a limited number of applicants will be chosen to participate in the job aptitude test. (If the number of applicants exceed the quota, priority will fall to senior year applicants first). The zoom lecture is still open to all students, so do not hesitate to take this opportunity!

Best,
