Dear SUNY Korea Community,

 

Once again, the annual SUNY Korea's Got Talent Show is back! Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we have decided to host this year's Talent Show online like last year. If you are interested in participating in the competition, please see the information below and submit your application!

 

 

  • Event: 2021 SUNY Korea's Got Talent Show (Online)
  • Event Timeline:
  • Application Deadline: Thursday, November 11, 2021
  • Participation Confirmation Result: Friday, November 12, 2021
  • Performance Video Submission Deadline: Monday, November 29, 2021
  • Online Voting Period: 10 AM - 5 PM on Tuesday, November 30, 2021
  • Final Result Announcement: Wednesday, December 1, 2021
  • *Subject to change

  • Application Deadline: Thursday, November 11, 2021
  • *You are not required to submit an audition video. However, you will be required to submit a short video about a week before the final deadline for us to check your performance.
  • Prize (Gift Certificate):
  • - 1st: 250,000 KRW
  • - 2nd: 150,000 KRW
  • - 3rd: 100,000 KRW
  • - Funniest Video: 50,000 KRW
  • NEW SPECIAL CATEGORY: FUNNIEST VIDEO
  • - The videos in this category will compete against each other (different from the original talent show)
  • *This category may be cancelled if there aren't many participants
  • Eligibility, Rules & Regulations:
  • Currently enrolled SUNY Korea students, faculty, and/or staff
  • - Singing, dancing, instruments' performance, skit, magic, etc.
  • - Performance video should be less than 5 minutes long
  • - Lyrics, costume, props, video content, and overall performances should be compliant with the University policy and appropriate for all audiences
  • - No swear/curse words are allowed in the music/lyrics (clean version required)
  • - Regardless of the number of members in the group, one award will be given to each winning group; not each participant
  • - Submission of the video means that the participants agree to having their performance video uploaded on a SUNY Korea SNS (online) platform for the audience to view and vote
  • Your video and application may be disqualified if it does not follow the mentioned rules and regulations
