Application for the 9th International Student Start-up Conference

Dear Students,

 

Please be informed that the 9th International Student Start-up Conference will be held at Dongmyeong University located in Busan from Monday, October 30 to Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

The program is hosted by the Ministry of Education and National Research Foundation of Korea and aims to provide a great opportunity to network and share best practices and skills for start-up companies.

*SUNY Korea students received 5 different awards in total at the 8th International Student Start-up Conference in 2022. 

Students who are interested in participating in this event, please find more information in the details below. 

  • Event: The 9th International Student Start-up Conference  
  • Purpose: To establish a global start-up network and share best practices for start-ups
  • Conference Schedule:
             - Monday, October 30 - Wednesday, November 1 
  • Target: Domestic & Foreign students from participating universities
  • Location: Tongmyeong University, Busan 
  • Total Participants: About 200 people from different countries
  • Eligibility: All SUNY Korea students interested in start- ups can apply 
  • Student Track Details:
             - Date & Time: Tuesday, October 31, 10:00AM ~ 5:30PM
             - Purpose: Discover start-up ideas tied to global (science-engineered) capstone design and (local) problem-solving living lab.
             - Topic: 1) Capstone Design start-up ideas: New Normal trend technologies 2) Living Lab start-up ideas: New Normal ESG Management  
  • Benefits: Expenses for meals, education, and accommodation fee will be covered. (Participants only need to pay for transportation fee)
  • How to Apply: Please Fill out the Google Form and submit by Friday, September 15 (3pm)
